Have they released any info on the avengers campus opening date besides 2020? A month or even a season?

So far summer 2020 is all we’ve been given which is so vague- that could be anywhere from May-August. And I think it will also be opening in stages just like SWGE did.

It was stated it would be a 2 part expansion when it was first announced. They haven’t broken ground yet on phase 2.

SWGE was announced on at the annual shareholders meeting in March for the May/August openings. Pandora date was in the February earnings call for May.

Not holding out hope by any means, but it would be awesome if they would announce the opening date during the Disney Parks Holiday parade tomorrow morning.

Summer is June 20 to September 22, so they have a lot of leeway to hit a “summer” opening.

But if I had to guess, I’d put money down on an early June opening just based on opening dates for most past major attractions/lands.

Disney usually counts Memorial Day weekend as the start of summer.

I’m still very “meh” on this. Guardians was a fantastic re-theme and it will be nice to have the surrounding land themed a bit more... but the Spider-Man attraction sounds pretty mediocre. Maybe it’ll be as fun and score competitive as Midway or Buzz, but I really wish it wasn’t something else screen based. Is phase 2 another attraction, or is what is already announced (spider man, “encounters”, and the food location) all that this area will include?

I am curious about the robot they’ve been building for an attraction or show or something. That looks AMAZING already... though I worry it’ll only show up in WDW or something.

It’s unclear what type of attraction it’s going to be just that it’s an e ticket.

We'll be there the first week of June. If it's open, awesome!. If it's not, maybe that'll keep the locals from crowding until it DOES open.

Pym Test Kitchen should be open in phase one. The only thing we know about phase 2 is the Avengers E ticket. I heard the crew on another site discussing this as likely being a screen based attraction very similar to Flight of Passage but with a different vehicle to simulate a rocket pack.
I really wish they would stop doing theses phased openings though....
