Any guesses on when both phases will be open? Has construction even started on the E ticket attraction?

If I had to guess, based on all of the current released information, the phase 2 attraction will not open until 2023 or 2024 at the earliest. My understanding is that it will not be coming until after Mickey's Runaway Railway opens at Disneyland.

I am SO excited for my son too! He's 12 and loves Spidey! I was wondering if the footage they showed on the Imagineering story of the new robot swinging was going to be Spiderman for this attraction. Looks awesome!

mom hopeful it’s a permanent thing and not just something for the first few days of opening ya know?

Yeah, as much as I'm excited to see the new stuff (and still sad about Bugs Land), I'm mostly looking forward to that path being open again :rotfl2:. It might not be as peaceful as it once was, but I am still looking forward to at least no more dead end there.

I’m excited and my kids LOVE Marvel...BUT I do feel like they are going a bit cheap on Avengers Campus. I really hope the Spider-Man ride will offer a bit more than TSMM. I also wish we weren’t getting another phased opening but it’s just what Disney does now I guess.

I believe that the “stunt tronic” Spider-Man will be used for more than just for the opening or promoting the land.

I also would not be surprised if when the Trolley comes back, the Newsies show does not return. I hope I’m wrong, but Disney is all about cutting live entertainment of late.

ME! Disney got us good on this one. We originally planned our March Disney trip to see SWGE. Then I learned about Avengers Campus opening in the mysterious "summer". With the Avengers being second only to Star Wars in my son's mind*, we immediately decided to return in March 2021. Then they released the FlexPass and now I'm contemplating an October trip in between....

This Disney stuff, man. It's like a sickness 😂

*On second thought, the Avengers might be third, after Star Wars and PJ Masks. But god help us all if Disney builds a PJ Masks land.

I’m holding out hope that the Spider-Man attraction will stand on its own and not feel like just another Buzz or TSMM.

I’m actually really interested in Pym Test Kitchen and what type of cuisine it’ll have. There’s already a burger place, hot dog place, pizza place, classic diner, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, so I’m curious what they’ll do to make it stand out (like the bread bowls at Pacific Wharf). Obviously they have the big/small food gimmick to play with, but it would be nice to see some unique cuisine options you can’t get elsewhere in the park.

(I’d love if there was even a half decent sushi option in the parks, but I doubt they do that as a theme for Pym)

Of course, I’ll also be glad to have a path from GotG open again, and I’m assuming they’ll connect with Car’s Land by Luigi’s again, but I can’t tell for sure based on the concept art if that back path will be open or not.

I want to be excited but I’m not. I feel like it’s being rushed. It’s also being released in stages, which I don’t like. Does anyone know if the main ride is supposed to be an E-ticket level attraction?

I don't think Disney actually owns PJ Masks so I wouldn't think they would lean too hard into it. Then again, they didn't own Star Wars or Avatar at one point either, and they still made attractions and a whole land for them!

Me! I actually came here in hopes of getting the idea of the opening time. We'd like to go in early May, but would gladly push the trip to late May to catch the opening. I'm hoping it's going to open before June/July when things get seriously busy.

We are going in Aug. and we aren't planning on it being open then. We hope it is, but with disney's timetables I don't think it will be open until at least Sept. Boy do I hope I'm wrong though.

I am guessing Spiderman is part of this project. I think I remember seeing this video over the summer or even spring of 2019 so if it is that same one, its been in the works for quite some time. Which is totally understandable for a project like this.
