Avengers campus opening! 7/18/20! Article in first post

Looking forward to Avengers campus but also looking forward to having the pathway from RSR to GOTG back again.

We are going in Aug. and we aren't planning on it being open then. We hope it is, but with disney's timetables I don't think it will be open until at least Sept. Boy do I hope I'm wrong though.

I think they gotta be pretty confident to say “summer 2020” I think for sure by August

I am! I am really hoping it will be open before our early August trip too. I know a lot of people are skeptical about that though, so I’m trying not to get any hopes up. With my luck it will open the week after my trip. Lol!

I don't think Disney actually owns PJ Masks so I wouldn't think they would lean too hard into it. Then again, they didn't own Star Wars or Avatar at one point either, and they still made attractions and a whole land for them!

Same boat here. Early Aug trip. I'm one of those that's skeptical, but keeping my fingers crossed.

It is apparently based on a series of children's books from France and is a co-production with Entertainment One and Disney.

I'm most curious about the Pym Test Kitchen! It was an interesting choice for food, so I really hope it's as fun as it sounds.

I am so excited! I’d love to know more about the possibilities of entertainment/shopping options. Like I know there’s no Marvel equivalent of a lightsaber but I feel like they’re going to have some cool things right?

I’m sure we’ll get more information soon. I also agree that they’re still sticking with Summer 2020- they wouldn’t keep releasing promos like the one linked above if they were going to delay it. (I hope...)

The preview photos at D23 showed a giant pretzel and soda cup on the wall with Pym’s kitchen from what I remember. Gigantic pretzels? Count me in. I’m anxiously waiting more info!

My family is eagerly waiting to know when Avenger's Campus will be open too. We will be there in Mid June and hoping that Summer 2020 includes June. We aren't regulars of DLR, since we live in the Midwest, so we go to DLR every other year. I am grateful that we will be able to enjoy for the first time Galaxy Edge, Pixar Pier, and the new parade that is debuting, however, we would love to see Avenger's Campus too. I did tell DH that if it isn't open before we go, it will give us a great reason to return (not that we won't anyways ).

I want to be excited but I’m not. I feel like it’s being rushed. It’s also being released in stages, which I don’t like. Does anyone know if the main ride is supposed to be an E-ticket level attraction?

The phase 2 ride is supposed to be an E-ticket ride with a brand new ride-system. I'm sure it will be pretty spectacular, when it eventually opens.

We are going out there on vacation starting June 14. Anyone heard anything regarding the “summer” opening date? I would assume they would have it open by then but i could also foresee technical issues regarding the Spider-Man ride

I wouldn’t assume anything until Disney announces a date. I think you used to be able to bank on summer openings being ready by Memorial Day but not so much anymore.

I’ve heard speculation and rumors for everything from Memorial Day to mid June to late August. It’s anyone’s guess at this point.

My AP expires on 6/15. We are hoping to get to see Avengers Campus before it runs out. Hope that there is some kind of preview night or special deal if staying on site. We'll see.....

Remember how ROTC was set to open during the summer? Then it was set to open before the end of the year. Then finally opened in January? (The slowest time for Disney....)

I highly doubt Avengers is near as complex and could fall that far behind, but I wouldn't be surprised if "summer" was August or something.

Don’t get your hopes up. In 2018 my sister and her friends went in mid June and they thought that Incredicoaster would definitely be open by then and it wasn’t. It could be but don’t count on it. It’s always an excuse to go another time...

I don't mean to throw cold water on things, but if Disney is saying summer, what are the chances it would open a full week before the solstice?
I'm going in November, and even I'm not confident it will be up and running by then.
