Here's the situation: My fiance is probably among the best mansion players on the game. When she plays with her character, she does fine. However, when she plays mansion with Mnementh, sometimes she struggles. She says that he moves too slow. This is always on the same computer and same DSL connection, so there's really no difference. Whenever I use her character to play fireworks, I don't notice any difference from when I use Mnementh.

I'm just wondering, do you think it's possible that Mnementh really IS slower than my fiance's character? Could different avatars have different strengths and weaknesses?

Some people say that having a lot of stuff in your inventory creates lag when playing your character. Maybe this is your problem.

My character has one of every pin I own, a full yellow space suit, a full diver suit, and several rocket couches on him and that's it. Her character has nearly as many pins, and one of almost every costume piece we own. The rest, I have divided up among mules, so we're roughly equal in terms of what we have in our inventories :confused3

But that was a good thought. I didn't think about that.

It could be a mental thing too. Haha, at least that's what it is for me. When I play on one of Ninja's sister, she can sometimes play better because I've kind of designated her as the serious one. Ninja's other sister plays worse because she's more of the party animal. Haha. I guess the character personalities I've created within them come out in the game. But then again, I'm just weird like that ...

It would be cool though if VMK had special options when you create your character, just like in this gorey game i play rofl, Oblivion for the computer ( single player )

In the beginning you make your character looks, abilities, what they were born to be, like a mage, war hammer person thingy.

Well my brother mostly plays, i watch.

But it would be cool if VMK had something like that, where you had the options to be better at mansion, like.. return to being an normal person faster, when you get caught by a ghost ) Or.. have better speed, or at pirates, have more health, speed, ETC going past the ship choices.

LOL! I joke about this a lot. My main Avatar is good at pirates. Mule #1 is awesome, and Mule #2, the boy, is horrible!!

:rotfl: Glad I'm not the only one (or I guess I should say I'm glad she's not the only one).

Yeah, having all that stuff in your back pack would DEFINITELY slow you down.

So when you dced in the middle of a game with me yesterday, was that you or your fiancee?

I usually play my primary character, Dashzap, but haven't noticed a difference when I play other characters.

I do better at ghosts when I have a better connection.

Also, I do better if I am not running other programs (especially any sneaky load-at-start-ups).

That was actually me yesterday. I got bored with fireworks and decided to play a game of mansion, but I have yet to finish a game all week. I've DCed during every game of mansion I've played this week. I don't understand why. It's like my computer knows when it's me playing and decides to be stupid :guilty:

:rotfl: Oh, I sure hope not. Unless, of course, Yavn wants to "remix" it first.
