Avalanche in BC

I was just watching a gut wrenching interview with one of the three survivors.
As he and one friend were leaving the mountain, they heard another beg not to be left. They were able to rescue him too, but then had to get off the mountain as another avalanche was imminent. They had to leave behind 8 other friends who perished. The young man is heartbroken and was sobbing. I can't imagine the guilt (unwarranted) they will live with and the grief the victims families will bear.

Keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.

My heart ached for this survivor as he was sharing his story. So sad these memories will be with him forever. I hope he will heal over time and his grief will be less. Still there for sure, but less.

I was watching one of the survivors tell the story yesterday and my heart just went out to him. How difficult that must have been for all 3 of them.

So sad.
