Availability Marathon Weekend

We own at HHI so can only book WDW resorts at the 7 month mark. We are doing a 4 day cruise January 3-7, 2010. We hope to then stay at WDW for 2 nights using our points. We will need a 2 bedroom as my parents are coming with. Our top choices are BLT, BCV, and THV in that order. This is also marathon weekend, I believe. Any thoughts on availability during this time?

you should be able to get BLT. It is new and until it has a great reputation - would expect some members to go with cheaper (point wise) alternatives.

remember at THV you need a car. the bus transportation only goes to spring bus stop and back to THV.

Thanks Pat. You may be right about BLT. This may be our best chance to get it. Normally, we wouldn't want to use Friday night points, but are making an exception for this trip.

Part of me would really like THV because of the 3 bedrooms. One room for us, one for the kids, and one for my parents. My DH really wants BLT though.

We will have a car, so any resort will work.

We may give in to these new incentives though.

Call for the reervation as soon as the 7 month window opens. WDW DVC resorts fill quickly for the time around the marathon.

I had no probalme booking at BCV's last year at 7 months for the same weekend. Maybe you'll get lucky! As long as you don't take my THV, then good luck !! LOL!!
