Autumn is here! Show me your best fall pictures!

I have an older Canon Powershot A70 that I'm thinking of replacing next year. But for now it works. Here's one from Cunningham Falls State Park in Maryland taken on 10/9/06.

Heres a few I took last weekend...

Had some great weather yesturday so after I droped older DS off at pre-school I took a ride to a few places. First place the lighting was awful. I took some pic's but there not good at all. I'll have to try that place again during a different time of day.

These are from the Town Green in Lexington, MA (a national historical sight):

and a few more. I also have some from a Pumpkin Festival we went to over the weekend, but haven't gotten around to uploading those to photobucket yet. Once I do I'll post those as well.

Everyone's photos are gorgeous. I can experience fall through all your photos. I love the colorful foliage against the crisp clear blue skies.... it doesn't get much better than that.... well maybe a nice 'fall' day at the beach with clear blue sky!

Well, fall is finally getting here! We're just starting to see bits of color, but with all the rain, I think the leaves will be down before they get a chance to turn :guilty: Here are a few I took this weekend at the Rowe Nature Center, it's still really green in most areas but every now and then you get a little peek of glory!

a little "duck bath"!! My kids thought he was so funny - he just kept flapping like a mad man out there!

I guess this would be a leaf study - no editing, straight from the camera. Actually I never touched the leaf, it was out of my reach - and it was one of a few not chewed up by the turtles and fish!!! :goodvibes My kids were getting so bored by this point!!

WOW ~~ those pictures are gorgeous! I'm coming to visit all of you this week, so that you can show me these places in person! ;)

LMarge....WOW!!! How'd you get ripples around the leaf? Doesn't look like water moving anywhere else? Cool!!

Not too much fall color around here yet:( Heres a few pics from a few years ago.

It's just the surface tension on the water where the leaf is resting - it's certainly nothing I did!! I didn't even notice it until after I had taken the picture - nice surprise!!

Went on a hike today with some friends and took a few photos. These are straight out of the camera:

Since the light wasn't the greatest (it was very overcast), here are two I redid the white balance on afterwards:

MANY of you have gorgeous bright colors! Are you using a program, or is it right off the camera? Care to share your secrets? :)

My photographs are straight from the camera. I will edit my photos occasionally but not always.

Here are a few taken last year on a trip to Idaho.

Jazzy - those pics are awesome! :thumbsup2 The colors really jump off the page; are they straight from the camera or did you do some editing?

The photos I took were taken with the "vivid" mode on or the "foliage" scene selection on. It makes the colors pop just a bit more. But mine have no post downloading editing done to them - yet!!! :goodvibes I want to go back and clean some of the floating stuff off the water, it's a bit distracting to my eye!
