Thought I would share this with you. My sister just booked with this promotion and saved $$. Amtrak runs a special in the summer Kids Ride Free. You can call and ask or use code H511 on the web site. You can not choose any other discount like AAA and must type the code in the promotion box. The cost for coach seats for a family of four is about $550-620 at this time. If you are a considering driving down, staying overnight in a hotel and eating on the way it will cost you about the same. I've done it and as long as you are flexible, it is a great alternative to driving.

Lindaon, thank you so much for this code. I've been searching for a discount for our June Auto Train trip and, until I saw your post, I hadn't been able to find a code that worked with our trip.
