I just got my monthly bank statement and noticed that my monthly dues, which are on autopay, were not deducted on July 15. Am I the only one? Of course I did not get the statement until after Member Accounting was closed for the day. I wonder what would have happened had we arrived to check in at a resort in the last couple of weeks?
ETA: I called a couple of weeks ago to inquire about the process to change our autopay to a different bank (our bank will soon be closing). I have not sent the paperwork for the new bank yet. I wonder if Accounting stopped the old autopay? That seems really bad since I did not send them any paperwork and only called to ask about the process.

Did your debit card get cancelled by chance from the old bank? I know we once received a new debit card number and I forgot to update it with DVC. I called and they said that they tried to take out our auto pay, but it refused it at the bank. I simply gave them the new information and they took out the payment right away. I would call them right away in the morning.

When we changed out banks a few months ago I canceled the first one right after my husbands debit card was stolen and our checking account was drained. We got a new bank account a few days later, but DVC needed me to mail or fax them the new info, they wouldn't take it over the phone. Once they received it, it still took until the next month for the autodraft to kick in. So I had made to make the payments over the phone with my credit card. I would call it in if I were you.

We do not have a debit card. We have done nothing to close our old bank account yet. I am waiting for all our direct deposits to be changed over to our new bank.

I will definitely call in the morning. I hope it is an easy fix. I want to make a new reservation in a couple of days so I want to have everything in order. I am glad I balanced my checkbook when I got the statement today or I would not even have noticed this. I am surprised that DVC did not notify me that my monthly payment was not made.

Thanks, everyone. It turns out that MS did stop my autopay when I called to inquire about the process for changing banks. I am shocked that they did this without telling me. But, as Wendy said, MS just did my July payment on credit card and I faxed them the info for my new bank so that the new bank info will be used from Aug. and going forward. All's well that ends well. And I can make my reservation in a few days with no worries!
