Automatic MDE Resort Change

Hi! Just wanted to start a new thread to compile information for resort guests booked through a third party or TA. I arrive 7/16 and we booked through UT. Multiple cast members and UT have informed me that changes will be made automatically in MDE for closed resorts.

Has anyone actually been automatically moved? Post your info here!

Automatic my labor day stay booked thru TA beach club to poly. I immediately emailed my TA to make sure it was not a mistake. No extra charge either.

Yes there is hope.

However so far we only know about one TA group that got a group of their customers moved for BC to the Poly for their Labor Day group rate bookings. The Wholesale department is working with third-party bookings and the Travel department is working with TAs to move their guests accommodated.

Same! The CM I spoke with on Tuesday said if nothing is changed by Monday, call back. I’m not sure if I can handle more holds

Count me in. I have a Undercover Tourist reservation booked for POFQ starting 7/17. I may or may not have been obsessively stalking MDE all week . Hopefully something will happen soon.

I just logged into MDE. Our POFQ river view has been changed to Riviera deluxe studio preferred view!

Check your MDE account. My reservation changed in the last few hours to a Riviera studio.

Right, that is why I'm confused that they are moving people from BC to the Poly.

Check your MDE account. My reservation changed in the last few hours to a Riviera studio.

Aug. 24. so should be open for Labor Day

Maybe BC is booked to limited capacity during those dates? Or because of talk the pool won't be open.

Regarding BC, word is a convention that was canceled but now coming again is being held there at that time. So a block of BC reservations were moved to Poly

My reservation isn't until right after Thanksgiving, but wholesale is supposed to call me first because of medical needs. The non third party people from AKL got moved to mostly Contemporary Garden Wing, which I would not be happy about, having to push a wheelchair.

I moved from AKL Jambo room only to BC GV for Nov. I called and requested BC and saved money. I hope you can get what you need.
