Autographs & stamps etc. WS & AK

Can some one explain the conservation stamps at AK for me? This is the thing where kids go to different stations and (?) learn something about the environment and receive a stamp of some kind? Does this require a special book? If so, does anyone know what they cost?

Also, I've heard about passports (?) for getting stamps and autographs from the workers at World Showcase. Does this require a special book?

Can the Disney autograph book we use for getting character autographs work for all of these things?

Yes they have special books for these but we have never bought them. The Epcot book is around $10 and I'm not sure about the AK book. You can use your autograph book. Last trip we made our own autograph books and I added a section for the countries in world showcase.

Hello! The stamps at Animal Kingdom are part of our Education Program. (I work there). THe books are the Kids Discovery Club books and they are free. There are 6 locations all around the park where your kids can do fun activities to help engage them and teach them about different ways they can help wildlife and conservation efforts. We focus on things they can do, like how to help animals in their backyards, and they learn this by doing fun games, like do a scavenger hunt in our 'backyard' where they look for backyard animals while crossing off the ones they find on a board. I know, as I work there, that the kids love it and often make it a mission to get all 6 stamps. They are having so much fun they don't really they are getting an education at the same time! Hope this helps! The one at epcot, also free, allows the kids to learn about cultures around the world, and decorate an italian theater mask with different cultural elements, and learn how 'dream' is said in each different language of the countries.
