So I am making my daughter a autograph book and I want to make sure that I will have enough pages for the characters to sign. How many do you think we could get while we are there for 7 days?

In 7 days you will see quite a lot of the characters. Are you doing any Character meals? If you are you can see anywhere from 5 - 7 characters in one sitting (depending on the meal). Also depends on how much time you and your family are willing to spend in lines for the character waits.

In our 6 day trip in February we saw 31 DIFFERENT characters, 3 or 4 couldn't sign autographs. We did 3 character meals, and ran into 6 at one time on Main Street, plus saw numerous others (Hollywood pictures backlot also has a few walking around). That trip had by far the most characters we've ever seen in one trip. Last week we didn't see nearly that many, but we weren't looking either since the kids decided after the previous trip they didn't need any more autographs!

What I did for the scrapbooks was cut out the autographs from the cheap autograph book I picked up for the kids, then decorated them for the pages in the book after the trip. That way I did't have to fit autographs to a pre-decorated book.

We are doing Lunch at Ariel's Grotto along with the Princess Fantasy Faire. I have enough pages for 18 now so should I get enough for 30 just to be safe?

It never hurts to have more than you think you need.

We bought autograph books at the DL hotel and they had room for 14 signatures and photos. We were only in the parks for 3 days and the girls filled up their books. They were all characters we happened upon while walking around the parks.

If you are going to use the autographs in a scrap book make sure the characters sign on seperate pages. If they sign back to back it makes it nearly impossible to make it work, you would have to scan or copy the autographs to put them in the scrapbooks.

If you are going to seek characters I would put at least 50 pages per kid, cause it doesn't hurt to get duplicate signatures.

Also I would take your books everywhere, cause there were people that went to the Pirate's Lair at Tom Sawyer's Island that somehow didn't have their books for Jack Sparrow to sign.
