Autographs during character dining?

Hi everyone! This is my first post on the DIS boards, although I've been a lurker for some time. My family leaves for our 2nd trip to WDW this Saturday! Can anyone tell me if the characters sign autographs during character dining (specifically, Chef Mickey's and the Princess breakfast at Epcot)? I didn't know if they had time for that or not.

You can purchase an autograph book and jumbo pen at any resort gift shop.

The main reason we dine with the characters so often is for the character interaction. You'll be surprised at how fun it can be and how some characters play with the children. Some have sat down and colored with my son, Donald Duck once played matchbox cars with my little one. It's really magical for the kids.

Keep in mind your going there for the characters not the food, the character interaction is usually much better than the food

It's good to know that they characters take their time. I had this vision of being rushed through photos, autographs, etc.

My kids (and I!) will probably be too excited to eat!

they will sign autographs, pose for pictures - they've always spent as much time at our table as our kids wanted them too. It's a wonderful way to meet characters!
