Has anyone done an autograph tee instead of a paper book etc.?

I am trying to come up with fun ways to have momentos from our sons upcoming wish trip and thought an autograph tee might be neat. I am just not sure if the characters would be willing to sign something like this WDYT?

My DD did a shirt on our last trip. I got a small clipboard (about 5X7 in) and stretched the shirt around it to keep it taut. The "face" characters could easily hold it like that to sign. I'd ask the other characters if they wanted me to hold it for them, and most nodded yes and guided my hands to the height they preferred. I'd hold it tight from under the clipboard while they signed, so the fabric wouldn't move or scrunch up. It turned out pretty well. We did use fabric markers rather than Sharpies.

We have done baseball caps the last few trips. We have girls and they still seem to wear them more than they do the shirts we had autographed. We've got tons of comments on them and they are easy to carry around the parks. Have a great trip.

My wife did a matte from a picture frame and the characters all signed that. Kind of a pain to carry around but looks really cool now in the picture frame with a photo of our trip.

Thanks everyone. I like the idea of bringing a clipboard to use, I hadn't thought of how bunched up it would get when trying to sign.

The shirt I was planning on using would be his Make a wish shirt.

We have also done baseball hats and they worked out well - you always know where they are (no carrying) and they were worn after the trip often. My older dd even took hers to college and hung it on a hook in her dorm.

and YES you can do a shirt as long as it isn't worn, you could use an embroidery hoop to keep it taught enough to be signed.
Have a great trip!
