Autograph stamp - Permanant Ink?

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the stamps that some characters use are permanant ink?

I was thinking of having my two DS's bring Mickey t-shirts to have autographed, but I want them to be able to wear the t-shirts when we get home. I will bring some colored Scripto permanant markers, but I know that some characters cannot actually hold a pen - so they use the stamp. I do not want the autographs to "wash away"!

I do not know the answer to your question about the autograph stamps, but I did want to tell you how wonderful the T-shirt works for "regular" autographs. My DD has a few autograph books full of signatures that we never look at. Two visits ago we bought a bright yellow Tinkerbelle t-shirt for her -- we got it a bit on the large side. We've taken it to WDW twice -- blue sharpy for the first visit and red for the second. I brought along a cardboard folder to put inside the T-shirt so the characters would have something hard against which to write. We put the whole thing -- T-shirt, cardboard, and pen -- in a ziplock bag in our backpack.

It's a great souvenier. DD wears the shirt as a nightshirt and it washes quite well. We'll probably use a green sharpy for our next trip.
