autograph questions

Someone told me that I had to buy an official disney autograph book for the characters to sign at the character breakfast at chef mickeys. What truth is there to this. I will be bring my creative memories 7X7 album that has the disney head on it (disney approved). This is what I made for my boys for disneyland and had no problems in the park but didn't do a character meal. Thanks

We didn't have any problems using our own homemade version in January. I certainly hope the mouse hasn't changed the rules on this.

I just used card stock, since I plan on adding the autographs to our Disney vacation scrapbook. Now I just have to sort through the over 1000 pictures we have from our March vacation.

I had no trouble with the cardstock, I had a mini-clip board and I just put the cardstock on that and the characters had no trouble handling it.

I have never heard of this. We have always used our own brought from home books.

We used archival cardstock in May of this year with no problems!!

Last January I downloaded pictures and ironed them onto a tshirt and then had the chracters sign the shirt using scripto permanent marker and a crochet hoop (keeps the shirt flat). None of the characters had a problem with it. Actually some of them showed it to other cast members. We even got a thumbs up for creativity from Mickey.

I'm trying to find something different this year. I'm kind of tired of the autograph books. Any ideas?
