Autograph question about characters

Hi,
Probaly a stupid question, but I'm going to ask anyway....

Do the "Cars" characters "sign" autographs? Are they available to "meet"? My son loves them and we wanted to get the autograph book ready for all of the possible characters we might meet.

What other characters don't actually sign anything?

Thanks!
Amy

When we were at WDW in April 2005 we say Lightning McQueen and Mater at MGM - they are actual cars driving around with the same kind of CM escorts that other characters have. But, yea, they don't sign autographs.

Also, when we saw the Incredibles they stamped our kids' autograph books instead of signing them.

Mike and Sully from Monster's Inc don't sign either, but are available for pictures. They have a little place set up for them just outside the ABC Commissary in MGM.

Here is 'Mater back on April 30th:

Here is Lighting on the same day:

They do not sign. I also know King Louie from The Jungle Book doesn't sign either.

The only thing that stinks about the Cars characters (unless this has changed, but I don't think it has), is that it's sort of a free for all. They drive them by the big hat in MGM and there are no lines that form, just people running up to them for pictures. Just so that you're aware!

As of April, this hasn't changed. We had to kind of wait for an opening to try and get a picture. Luckily wasn't that crowded.

as of May, it has changed. i've reported it multiple times, but... they cone off the san francisco street and form a line on the left side for both cars.

We literally walked into Mater on our Thanksgiving trip. We hadn't even seen the movie yet. It was crowded and taking a picture like kies99 did was impossible. But it was worth it to have my mid 40s husband, who thinks he's seen all and done all at Disney World (a bit jaded), stop and become about five years old. "Theya re really cars! I mean, they are really cars! Hear their engines? They are CARS!"

here's how pictures are done now incidentally

When we went these past 2 years the following characters did not sign:

The Beast - but Belle signed for them
The Genie - sometimes he signs, other times, Aladdin signs for him
Boo and Sully from Monsters Inc.
Cars characters
Buzz Lightyear
Mr. Incredible, elasticgirl, Frozone
Figment
King Louie
Flounder, Sebstatian, Carmen, Fintail at Pirate and Princess party

Hope this helps!

Jojo signs for Goliath as well. disney bear doesn't sign either. you can kinda get the idea. those with exceptionally large hands/paws don't sign.

Also, Bullseye (whenever he is out) does not sign.
