We done the following:

Park books both princess and the mickey.
Personalized books
pillow cases
pieces of cloth that I made into a quilt.

I don't want to to shirts as the kids outgrow them.

Anything else you did? I was thinking of a white photo mat and have them sign with colored sharpies but I was worried about it bending. Have you done this? How did it turn out? First time without a stroller and I will have to carry it all day.

Ideas?

Picture frames, tote bags, kids size apron and/or chef hat, backpack.

We did the photo mat twice now, and I love it. I see them every day :) I used a vinyl folder to protect it from bending, but the mats are pretty durable and thick. I wish I could figure out how to post pictures on here, our most recent mat is my all time favorite souvenir :)

We did a photo book. It started with our first trip in 2009 and when we go in November 2014 it will be the last trip it will make. The book goes each year we go so new signatures can be added but we also add the photos with each character from each year. So for my daughter she has a picture with Cinderella at age 2, 4 and 6 right next to Cinderella signature. It's been neat to look back and see how much they have grown. Not sure what I will do next!?:confused3

Thanks for the ideas!

KlutzyK8---to upload pictures, you first have to upload to a photo site like photobucket or flicker. Then get the image link there, in a reply here, click on the mountain icon that when you hover it says insert image...click on that and paste the link from the photo site. :)

I did the photo mat but just brought it to chef mickeys.

But since then my kids do hats. They wear them in the park and I just need to carry a sharpie. They wear the hats when they get home too.

We did the park books last time but this time I made personalized covers and laminated them at Office Depot then spiral bound with index cards cut to the size I wanted.

I saw somewhere that a person used a placemat for signatures. Not sure what kind of placemat; trying to figure that out myself!!

We bought Disney hats when we got there and then had them sign those. DS usually got a baseball type with plenty of room for signatures. DD something a little more exotic. We have them displayed in their rooms and then they can wear them when they wish. The characters actually seemed to take it in stride and as it is something a little different, we got more interaction. Goofy and Pluto signed the top and bottom of DS visor, so no one else could sign there. It was pretty funny.

New to this and a pillow case sounds great bc I can fold it up and stick it in a ziplock in the stroller when not in use. But do you just use a sharpie marker? Does that not fade or rub off when you wash the pillowcase?
