Autograph Cards - Streamlining Idea

So I was thinking about autograph cards and had an idea to toss out there to maybe streamline the amount of blank cards one would need to carry around to be signed…

What if there was a slightly more generic card with ALL of the characters in a giant group shot across the bottom (or at least most that you see in the parks) and either blank up the top or WDW or something cute across the top. Even something park specific so for instance AK cards could have all of the Safari themed characters, LK, etc that you would see there but no princesses since they aren’t at AK and the top of the card could say something re AK or a cute AK phrase. Similarly for Epcot you would have the Princesses, Pooh characters, and whoever else would be at the park. DHS maybe some of the Disney channel characters… you get the idea.
Then as a person bringing cards to be signed I could bring a handful of my “group shot” cards each day and not go crazy sorting through 150+ cards to find the one printed for XYZ or have to hand over a blank because I didn’t have something for them.

I love all of the individual cards, but I am trying to imagine rifling through for my 3 kids in Feb and I can already see this is a disaster in the making. Anyone have any cool ideas or want to take on the challenge? :lovestruc

There are nice park specific ones out there. Check out Natalie's and/or Chaoscent (penny's) files.

Here is my attempt with a group shot:

I was thinking the same thing. I took pics from previous trip to have characters sign (I am framing all the Princess pics & giving them to DD for her bday ~ she has a Princess room) & it was hard trying to find who you needed, espcially when you came upon someone unexpectedly. I think Natalie has some character meal cards that are like what you described.

I love the idea of just group character cards. Another thought might be to do park cards (like just the symbol of the park), then you can categorize your characters by park. Natalie has some dining cards on her sight that just have the park symbol on them (yes, the menu's are on there too but what I'm just using that as an example).

I too have had a hard time deciding what to do for our trip next week as I've heard from many, that it can sometimes be tricky to find the exact character card at the exact moment.
