On our last trip, our kids were 3 and 5 and it was pretty much a mission to get autographs. We were persistent, did a lot of character meals and got lots and lots of autographs.

This trip, three years later, my kids are 6 and 8. Do you think we'll need to do autograph books again or should we try for pressed pennies or something else?
Last time it was not a problem to spend most of our time hunting down characters, but this time I think they'll be much more interested in riding the big rides.

What do you think?? :confused3

I brought along the books "just in case" and I'm glad I did. We saw lots of characters this year and my dd8 got autographs for the characters we missed last year.

Hi! We just returned from WDW. I didn't think our 9yr old daughter would be interested in getting autographs and meeting characters. I was wrong! She told me on the plane that she wanted to get all of the characters autographs so our first purchase at the hotel was an autograph book & pen. She also enjoyed collecting the trading pins. Enjoy your trip!

Yep, my oldest is 8 and she still loves to go autograph hunting. You will probably wind up doing them.

Yeah, I guess it'll be safer to go ahead and get a couple book before we get into the parks. I'll just plan on doing that, but I also want to try and do some pressed pennies or pin trading.

Thanks for all the replies!! :flower:
