For our first trip collecting autographs, I made and printed out at least a hundred autograph cards w/ characters' pictures on them. Then we carried them around in a ziploc baggie and as we got them signed, we put them into a photo album. They turned out great.. we have a chronological record of who we met with pictures and autographs.
However.. I love the idea of having a hardcover book and not having to fumble for the right card. But I also don't know how I would feel about having blank spaces in the book.. we met about 50 characters, so if I had tried to make a book with spots for all 100 characters, there would have been a lot of blanks, you know? I know I could just do photos for the most common characters and generics for the rest, but I loved the reactions we got for rarer characters when we had cards with their pictures on them. We don't do yearly Disney trips or anything.. our first was a few weeks ago and we probably won't get back for two more years at least.
So.. what do you guys think? How does it work for you?
