Autograph books

If you are OK with a little crafting - mykids enjoy making their own autograph books.

We bought 5x7 note cards, punched two holes in the end and looped bindery rings (craft store very cheap) through the holes. I cut out cardboard covers from a white box and they decorated them up! We spent extra to buy some 3-D stickers of Disney Characters on the front. I think we spent $15 total for two books, but they were very unique and it was a good way for the kids to ramp up to Disney!

Ditto. We make our own.

I used snapfish for my autograph book... I put pics from our first disney trip on the cover, then there is absolutely no doubt who it belongs to! They were pretty cheap, and you can usually get a free shipping code!

Good Luck!

I just got the cutest 6X6 notebooks from the $ Spot at Target. The are white with black polka dots and have a red satin ribbon tie. Very *Disneyish*;). I will add a few stickers to personalize them for the kids. They were originally $2.50, but are 50% off...so $2.50 for both. :)

my local disney store had them on sale for 6 bucks a piece. Not the princess ones but the ones with mickey and gang on them.

On our last Disney trip we purchased the autograph book and quickly ran out of pages (try explaining to a 4-year old that you don't need Mickey's autograph 6x :rotfl2:) I didn't want to buy another one because I felt there just weren't enough pages but I did find at WoD a journal book. Its a spined book with unlined pages in it (at least 60; front & back gives you 120 minimum autographs!) and it had an elastic page holder. We are going back in August and will bring it back with us to finish it up. I think it may have cost $8 or so but holds much more than the traditional book.

The DISign forum has tons of very nice autograph pages to print out at home and make your own autograph book.

Last trip we used a couple of their templates for the Epcot Passports. They were much nicer than the ones Disney sells.

Here's instructions on how to make a wirebound autograph book.

We used baseball caps instead of autograph books. My sons wore them and carried a Sharpie with them. This worked out well and they still wear their hats. My 16 and 15 year old then enjoyed waiting in line for autographs too.

I got them at Michaels a few months ago for $1, they were 5" by 5" square. They came in Cars, Buzz/Woody, Princesses and Fairies. ,They also had matching notebooks (lined pages vs blank pages) and lanyards. I am not sure if they still have them, but if you are near one it is worth a look!
