If your feeling crafty here is an idea.... I decoupaged disney paper onto a clipboard and my son (2) put stickers all over it. It was easy to move the cardstock around between characters. After our trip we slid the cardstock into a photo album along with pictures of my son with the character.
I got el-cheapo ones (price wise, not quality wise) at our local Dollar Store! They actually were diaries, but we just took the lock off and let them sign the pages inside. We almost filled them both! And for a buck, can't go wrong.
Another creative idea - I read on here once that instead of autograph books, people bought painters hats at a craft store and markers and had the characters sign the hat. The hats were cheap and mom and dad didn't have to carry books around all day.
