For those of you who use autograph books, do you buy one every time you go to WDW or do you use the same one each time (until you run out of pages)? Just curious. :scratchin

This is our 3rd trip. We bought an autograph book the first trip. We took it the second trip, but DD never really wanted it. This trip, we are taking it and will aim for characters that didnt sign the first trip. No need to get an autograph a second time ;) . This way, she wont notice a difference in signatures. Honestly, she enjoyed the passport at Epcot way more than the autograph book. I know it's different, but she thought standing in line for the characters was a pain!

My DD is now 13yrs old. She has gone to wdw at least 12 times since she was 2.5 yrs old. We have gotten a new autograph book each and every time. The cost stays about the same $5-$6. Not really a problem thinking a dirrerent cindy or mickey will write differently each year because they have to practice before they can start signing in the parks. :thumbsup2

My girls used the same book until the pages ran out we just put the date on every year. This year we bought the celebration book which has a section to autograph on one side and the opposite page has a sleeve to put a photo in. I dont remember the cost but they carry these books every where they are so proud of the picture and love to keep the memory alive.

The first time my DS went, I didn't know about autograph books and we purchased one at the parks, I think it wsa maybe $5? This last trip, I purchased the Celebrations book, and my DS LOVES looking at the pictures that go along with the autographs.

We're going again May, 2007, and for that trip I'm planning on making our own autograph books. I have a girlfriend that did them with scrapbooking supplies and they turned out really cute.

So, in answer to the OP, we do different autograph books each trip.

Have fun!

Dumb question.....do you buy the autograph books at the park OR can I purchase them before leaving home, if so where??? Thanks!! :confused3

DD (9yrs) has been to WDW or DL 10 or 11 times, most of the time she is autograph crazy, but there have been a couple of times she was just barly interested. We make scrpbooks of the autos and pictures from each trip. I think it is alot of fun to look back and see the smile on her face with her characters.

The celebration book sounds like a great idea! I think we'll have to get one of those in May. Thanks!

What exactly is the Celebration book? Is it larger (and heavier) than a regular autograph book? I would like to be able to post pics of my daughter with the character next to the characters autograph. Do either of these work well for this? Thank you!!!

A new one everytime. I make them myself. I purchase 4 by 5 pre-cut paper at Michael's (craft store). There are 5 different colors in a pack so I mix them up. I put about 40 pages together and take them to Staples or Office Max and have them bind them with a black thick back ground. I then decorate the front sheet with a different character each time. I get the character's at Archivers but I think Michael's has them too. I also personalize them with her name.
