I had all intentions of making the kids each one but time has escaped me. I was wondering if they have them availible in the parks and also how much? Would I be better off buying them an autograph type book before I leave?

Yes, they have the autograph books available in the parks, and I think they're around $10-12 each, but I'm not positive. My brothers loved to autograph seek when they were younger so I hope your kids have as much fun as they did! :thumbsup2

They have them in a variety of sizes at just about every shop in the parks. The smaller ones are $6.95. The larger, more elaborate books are anywhere from $12-$15.

Yes, autograph books are at mainly every shop in WDW. Including hotels, parks, Downtown Disney. So are pens, but I suggest if you don't want to spend money than you bring your own. They are around $5.99-$7.99 from what I can remember. I forgot mine at my hotel and I bought one. When you enter the parks check at the booths and shops. Or when you get to your hotel buy one there. Though, it would be cheaper to make one for yourself. I had never thought about doing that.

Thanks for the great idea!

I found the idea of making your own in the family forum. Lots of good suggestions for them there.

Last summer the autograph books were $5 at almost every shop in the World. I would suggest you purchase one before you get to a park because many characters are sometimes available at the park entrance for autographs and photos. If you have to find a shop to purchase, you will have to double back in hopes of getting to see the characters.
Make sure the pen is one of the fat ones...easier for characters to hold.

Magic Man is right. Have the books ready as we got most of our autographs at the openings. It is a little crazy, but saves time overall.
