ADORABLE!!! Man I wish someone was into autographs in my group (12 and 8 too old and 3 and 1 too young- actually the 3 hates the characters...but that is another story.) Maybe if I make a really cool book like that my 8 year old dd would be into it? Where did you find the nice big disney cutouts? I have a Xyron machine and could make some stickers pretty easily out of some sturdy cutouts.
Thanks..I got the big cutouts at my local scrapbooking store, but I know our Hobby Lobby store has Disney stuff..I don't really know if my kids will be into the autographs or not..I just wanted to make them they are only 5,4,1 1/2. I figure if anything the little one can scribble in it. I had a gift cert. for the scrapbook store so I'm not out much if they aren't into it.
Great job on the books. Don't be surprised if the cast members give you lots of compliments. On our last trip I made autograph books for my kids. The cast members always commented on how cute and different they were. It made my kids feel good as they helped making them.
I was thinking of making my own autograph book for my daugher (the ones you made are great!), but was worried about the heat & humidity in August. Do you think that the humidity will have any effect on the autograph books (like, will the paper wilt? the stamps fall off? etc).
Those look so awesome!!!! I am into scrapbooking and your books have given me some great ideas!!! WHat is the book actually made of? Are those index cards on spiral wire????
Now I am not the OP but I did go looking to make these after seeing her beautiful job.(still have not made them though ) They sell those books as mini scrapbooks in the craft store.
I got the spiral index card idea from here!!! I love these disney boards....but anyway i got them at an office store..(I think OFFICEMAX) I looked at walmart but they only have 3 1/2 x 5 size and I wanted the 4 x 6. I turned it backwards too so that the index cards don't have the lines. In the pics you can really see the spirl wire and cardboard but I justed pulled the ribbon up and you can't see it at all.
