Autograph Books and Pens

Can you buy the WDW Autograph Books anywhere and if so how much are they (plan to buy some as soon as we arrive). Also can anyone recommend a nice pen that you buy there for the kids to take with them. Also (you'll be fed up of the scot who talks too much now) would they fit in a Bum bag(fannypack, but fanny means something else over here) and can you get them wee enough for a 4 year old?

Hi Louise! Autograph books are anywhere between $8-$12 USD and they are easy to find in gift shops and the the shops on Main Street.

You can find fanny/bum bags for little ones only the the little ones won't hold very much.

As far as pens go, I learned here on the DISboards that chararters have a tough time signing autographs with regular pens. Fat Sharpie permanent markers work the best and they are easy to find when you are digging for them!

I bought 2 autograph books (spiral bound, brand new) WITH pens for $4.99 each off Ebay. I also bought 2 brand new squished penny folders for the same!!!

Probably cost me more in shipping to the UK lol.

I'll budget them for when we arrive and will try and get some nice disney pens from DLP for them to get autographs from the characters.

My MIL bought the actual autograph pen for my son's autograph book. It is a long pen with a Mickey Mouse head on it. I read somewhere on here that they don't like to use sharpie pens b/c the marker can stain their gloves. Just a thought!

Hi! When we go we budget for autograph books and we bought the big pen the characters like to use (I think $4.99us). My kids love to start a new book every time we go but this time we will use the one my DD lost and TTC lost and found mailed it back to Canada(we wrote our name and address inside the book). From then on (that was right after 1900 park fair dinner with Cindy) I carried both my DD's books inside a fanny pack I wore. We purchased our books while my DH was checking us in at POP. It gave our DD's something to do. Louise, I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Thanks for that. I hope to get them when checking in, but it does depend on if the kids are awake as we will be checking in at 1am your time and arriving probably about 4-6pm your time SO if they are sleeping I may have to check in (I'm the lead passenger) while dh waits in the car. I need to chill and stop worrying lol.

I always thought there was something significant about the shape/size of the pen. Is it a larger size pen?
