We are cruising on the dream on 2-13, husband and I and our 20 month old daughter. I'm trying to find an autograph book for her. The ones I am finding seem to be park specific (DW, DL). I can't find any official Disney ones for a cruise, or general Disney ones that don't like cheap (like a small spiral notebook!). Anyone know where I can get one? Does the ship sell them? I wanted to get one ahead of time in case we meet any characters before boarding the ship.

I found a great tip on this board!

I went to the Lakeside Collection Website and purchased a Disney character Encyclopedia for $3.95.

i plan to have the characters sign on their page in the encyclopedia.

If we visit a character that is not in the book, I will have them sign inside the cover of the book.

It really is a good quality book, and even with the shipping fee, it still doesn't cost that much more than plain autograph book from disney.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping to find an "official" Disney one before the trip but don't think that will happen. I saw the books on ebay and they look nice but I don't think they are "official". I may go with the character encyclopedia, that sounds like a good idea!

If you have a 'Disney Store' nearby, they sell general ones there! I have a couple for my kids. We are doing Disneyland for a couple days before the cruise, so they will have in hand and ready for the cruise too! :woohoo:

I will say this. If you get to the terminal early enough, then there are characters that come out, and take pics and sign autographs. Another suggestion, is to either ask someone on an upcoming cruise to get the official DCL book for you, or see if they have it in the terminal. I know they have some things, and I think you can preorder one, and it will be waiting in your cabin, but Im not sure if the gift shop has one in stock, or if they can hold it for you there.

Jus thought of this. Call the Disney Merchandise number, and you may be able to have one shipped directly to you at home. I know they have somethings, but not all. Worth a shot.

Those are so cute, wish I would have known about them sooner, we are sailing next weekend so I don't think it would get here in time.
