So I'm thinking of having a book made with pics of characters for autographs. Like the ones from shutterfly. Our friends did one with classic Minis in it, it had a white border around the pics which I think would be great for autographs. So what do ya'll think? Is it doable???

I have the boys scrap autograph books about done but I doubt I will have time to do one for the baby before our trip.

I think that sounds like a great idea. I think it would look really neat too. The only downside would be if you put a character in and then couldn't find them in the park. That would be my luck. Have a great trip when you go! :goodvibes

Well the nice thing is we go back pretty often so if we miss someone we could get it another time. wdwautographs.com has great list of characters so I was going to use their list. They are a DIS family too!

I would use the pics I already have or use stock photos, make the books and then take the books to the parks to be autographed.

GoofyGirlnPrincessV used blurb.com it's really reasonably priced too.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea - I've been trying to come up with something special for my son and everything that is special seems bulky and delicate. I've ordered books from shutterfly before for myself and I think this is a great idea.

One question though - how are you laying it out - picture on one side and white block on another? Also how are you going to handle any characters not in the book or are you going to put one page for each that you might find? Any more details would be fantastic!

Most of the books I've seen have a white border around the picture so I will do one per page and have them sign on their page with their picture. A DIS'er has a very comprehensive list of characters so I'm going to use their list as a template of sorts. And to keep to book from being to bulky I think I will try to put some characters together like, Lilo and Stitch, on the same page.

I'm still working out the details in my head plus a lot of my pics are on my old computer and DH needs to pull the hard drive this week so I can get to them.:badpc:

Here is the link to the characters:
