Autograph Book & Character autograph

waving my magic waund so you can feel better and not so self conscious about going by yourself.

I know I'm a horrible speller, but spelling dosen't count when you're doing magic.

If I may, my 2 cents differs from that of everyone else's. Now, I don't think you should feel self-conscious at all about standing in line to get autographs but IMHO I don't think you should. I think you should grab the autograph books and type up an invitation for the girls to come to the parks and get everyone's autographs, then take THAT and have Mickey sign it.

I think the books are a wonderful idea, but part of the fun in having an autograph book is going and getting the autographs! You might take part of the fun out of it for them.

Thx Goofy_Mom, I have decided to eat at Minnie and Friends character breakfast at the Plaza Inn during MM on Saturday. It would also give me the opportunity to get autographs from each different characters.

I think that's a fabulous idea, however, when you invite someone to come along you also invite to pay for it all. I don't have an AP and I'm sure it comes with perks, but I don't think passes for friends is one of them. Then you have to feed them, transport them, and keep your eye on them. There is more to do at Disneyland than just get autographs. I DO think that would be one excellent present, but maybe a little much to give a friends daughter. That is unless this friend is like your brother and the girls are like your neices, then it's completely apporpriate it you can afford it.

Glad I could help. So your going this Saturday? I seem to remember you asking about a holiday autograph book. I ask because we are going to be enjoying the holiday decorations over Thanksgiving. I have a couple of kids and will be in line to see the characters. If you're there when we are there and need some "help", I'm sure my kids would be more than willing.

I asked my DD(9) if she wanted to get autographs this time, she said she would rather just get the pictures. I asked her the same question last year and she said the same thing, but when we got to the parks and she saw the books she changed her mind.

I have 8 and 10 year old girls. The 8 year old would be all over the princess one, but at 10 a lot of girls are growing out of the princess stage. Is there a Tinkerbell autograph book? Tink is who my dd and all her friends are into. She's still fun but not too little kiddish, kwim?

And I think it's soooo nice of you to get the autographs for these girls!! They will be SO thrilled. If you start feeling self-conscious, just remember what a great thing you are doing for the girls! I'm sure they will be beyond excited!!

I never been to the Holiday season in November since I always go in December every year. I just want to help my dad colleague daughters who didn't enjoy DL at the fullest and wanted an autograph book when they were there last month.

That is the difference when you talk about autographs at home and the kids don't want an autograph from the characters whe they just want a picture with them. Than all of a sudden they changed their minds when they are in the park and see all the guests with their books.

I know last year they had the tinker bell books, my daughter got that one and the matching pen.

Hahaha! No no no, I think you misunderstood my meaning. I meant for Mickey to invite the girls to sometime come and get autographs from the characters themselves (meaning on a future trip they take). I was not intending to imply that one should pay for the girls to go on a DL trip as well.

It would make them feel even better if I get them different character autographs. I haven't done autographs in a long time since I was a young kid. But I am going by myself next month and does it kind of feel strange that a young single adult is getting an autograph from the Disney characters?

It would be nice if I just get in line and ask the characters for the autograph for the girls, but I'm still having seconds thoughts of doing this. With everyone saying that I should just get in line and ask for an autograph. This would make the girls very happy for their Christmas present, but it would make me feel uncomfortable. I haven't done it in years and maybe I just need more encouragement for me to do this. Need some help.

If you were in my shoes and you were only by yourself with no one you know would you do it?

I would just hop in line and get the autographs. But then I'm not shy about stuff like that so maybe that doesn't help. LOL

I think this idea is fabulous!!!!!!!! I love it!!! Lots of signatures, good food, can't go wrong with this one! And at M & F if you aren't at your table when the characters pass by they always come back to see you. And you'll be able to find someone to take photos of you with the characters too if you wanted them for yourself.

Thx for the tip, I was thinking of the same thing that someone will be able to take my picture with the characters.
