I have heard people reccomend using something like 3x5 or 4x6 card stock to get CM autographs instead of an autograph book. What is the best way to do this. Isn't it hard for the CM to sign a 3x5 card instead of an autograph book? Do you hand them a stack for a little extra support? ANy comments/suggestions?

Thanks!

There are lots of ways to make an autograph book, but we've found the easiest and most preferred by our DD is to buy the $5 WDW one. We photocopy the autograph when we return and incorporate it into our albums. I've seen people use a CM sentiments album and many other options (sprial notebooks, index cards, etc.), but we've always found the simple book you buy there work best for us. We've got a stack of them - LOL!

We've done the "single cardstock" thing. I'm actually in the process of making a 6x6 album of character photos & autographs. Anyway, I kept the cards in a ziplock bag, and then the characters used that as a firm base to write on.

I've also seen miniature clipboards and think I'm going to try to find one of those for our next trip. That way the autographs will be loose and on acid-free cardstock and I can put them straight into the album.

Thanks for the replies! I thought about the miniture clicpboard thing, however, I thought it might be too much of a hassle to carry around. I was hoping that what ever we dicided to use would fit in a fanny pack.

Here's what I did. I bought the WDW autograph book and had the characters autograph one side of the page and then, I put the photo on the other side for my dd as a keepsake. Then, if you have a scanner, you can scan in the autographs and make them smaller or bigger to fit in your layout in your scrapbook. I haven't gotten this far yet. But hopefully, I have time soon to do this. HTH, Tina!

I have 2 things that I have bought for autographs to use in my scrapbook that I will not mind if I have to tear out pages.

The first is a spiral bound book of index cards that are perforated that I can remove the cards and always have something that can be written on.

The second is a journal of sorts. It is basically a sketchpad, but I was thinking of using this too.

I need help choosing which one would be best and easiest to use in my scrpabook!!
