Autoconfirm Reservations

I tried to book a "last" minute trip home on May 10th at BCV in a studio. All sold out!!!
Taking my 5 yo DD so I wanted to use SAB. However, the only studio available is at OKW. I booked this and then went on a wait list for a studio at BCV.

MS asked if I wanted an autoconfirm and change of reservation with an automatic deduction of the extra points if the reservation went through. I said yes.

Is it better to continue to call back or just use the autoconfirm? Does the autoconfirm truly work? Has anyone had any experience in waitlist reservations at BCV so far, in terms of whether my waitlist will go through?

I have use this 2 times now. Both times it worked fine. I received a confirmation letter stating the changes. I would call once just to make sure your request is what you thought you had. Hey, MS are humans too, they rearly make mistakes, but mistakes do happen. So just to be safe, check a week of so after you first go on the wait list. I just did this for a std view 1 BR at BWV, it took about 7 weeks on the wait list, then the confirmation letter arrived. Good luck with your trip.

I used autoconfirm at BCV for our upcoming stay (end of this month). In late January we decided to upgrade from a studio to a one bedroom. Initially, only one night was available, so I took that and went on the waitlist for the other two nights. About a week later a got the confirmation notice that I had the second night, and a week after that I got another one saying I had the third. Just for good measure, I received a third notice combining the reservations into one! So yes, it works!

Auto confirm works well , but make sure to call and check up on the status. I had auto confirm for a few night, confirmed 2 nights and then dropped the last night.

I have used this twice now. And both times my waitlist came through. and they called me to tell me my waitlist had come through, and would I still like to change my ressie>...This just happened yesterday... I am so excited just got my request filled for early may.....
