Auto insurance covid rebates

Wow. I am not getting any sort of rebate. Good for you guys. I inquired about this weeks ago and was told if we did not drive the car AT ALL, we could temporarily reduce the collision insurance on it. That's it. Very disappointing as it has not left the driveway for 6 weeks now.

i'm so aggravated...my insurer didn't do a thing...I've emailed them to ask and radio silence...they don't even give me the courtesy of a reply. Policy's up next month and they'll probably have the nerve to increase it again - when everyone else is offering rebates? Guess I need to start getting competitive bids.

I feel you! Same here.

farmers is doing 25% for the month of april at this point. i pay mine biannually so i checked with my agent-it will be applied as a credit to the next renewal.
I am with Farmers as well, pay mine every six months. I received a refund back for mine! Posted to my card on file a couple days ago!

Upon opening my Allstate app, it shows the amount I’ll be “paid back” for April, which will be deposited early May. Likewise, May’s payback will be deposited early June. I’ll get a whopping total of $33 for 2 vehicles.
I got my April one from Allstate on 4/22. A whopping $11.54, but I'm not complaining. It'll more than cover a 6 pack of my favorite beer.

mine finally came through after virtually every other company announced reductions. (Way to trail the pack, guys!) A whole 15% and just for one month. Not as nice as those 20-25% off reductions many others are offering, but I'll take what I can get and be grateful for it. :)

by any chance do you have a farmer's visa card? if not you might want to check it out. they give 3x rewards for any farmers products you pay with it so you essentially end up reducing your premium cost by 3% (every little bit helps).

We are with Met Life. They posted a message on their website that said they will give a 15% reduction on March and April and it will post in June.

Our new company, just said 15% back for April and May.

Today I called and asked the car not being driven used by the kids, (due to DD is in another state and her internship was also canceled )

and it won’t be given till August- if any discounts may be available for that car.

We didn’t get any type of reduction of premiums or anything back specifically but our insurance company has paid our 2020-2021 Farm Bureau dues (a requirement to have insurance through them) it’s a $50 savings which works for me. Plus the big driver in the family (my husband) is still commuting 60 miles round trip to work 5 days a week and sometimes multiple times a day or on the weekends

I got 20% off for two months. They put it all on May’s bill. It was a nice discount since we cover DS20 right now.

farmers just announced that in addition to the april 25% discount they are doing another 15% for may.

The only thing I received from Liberty is my regular bill. No discount, no rebate, nothing. Just straight up pay us this by the due date. I still have a note on my car maybe that's how their justifying this.

I think they’re trying to get in front of customers reducing their coverage. I haven’t driven much at all. My worse case is the my garage collapsing on my car. And I don’t think that is covered by collision.

I’m supposed to go back to work in two weeks. But I still think I can find places to reduce my coverage considering that besides going to work and the grocery store, I have no where else to drive.

Collapse would be covered by your comprehensive coverage on the car.
