Sorry things are starting out so rough for you @Summer2018
We were fortunate DD began receiving services when she was just over 3 years old in 2021. Toilet training is a skill she still has yet to master but we are getting there. But I don’t recall her ever intentionally going somewhere other than the bathroom…usually she is just too engrossed in whatever she is doing to make her way to the facilities. I did hear from a regular ed teacher that she had two second graders still using pull ups last year.
These 2017-2021 born kids missed out on so much. Would DD be completely communicative and in a regular ed classroom right now otherwise? Probably not but I do believe should would be a lot further along than she is if she was a toddler under normal circumstances.
