Are the premium experiences at Auntie's worth it? We are going in a few months with our 7 and almost 5 year old. I think they would like the fish are friends activity. How much does it cost? Are either of them old enough to do surf's up? How much is that? Any insight would be helpful.....Thanks :)

here's a good thread from a few months ago about the same activities. and yes, both of your kids will be great for surf's up. they're both $75/each.

I called and booked both of these activities a couple weeks ago for October and I was told Fish are Friends is $69.00 and Chip and Dale Surfs up is $79.00.

We also have a 7 & 5 y/o. You might want to play it by ear. Our kids only want to do two things when were at Aulani: swim and totally zone out. They aren't really into the activities at Auntie's. If we can pull them away from the pool, their exhaustion will catch up to them and all they want to do is sit in front of the TV, which we can do in the room. Of course, there's no shame in dropping the kids off so that the adults can get their own time.

I agree with this. Two of my kids are slightly older than yours (6 and 9) and they hated Aunty's. I was so glad I didn't sign them up for any paid experiences because it would have been a waste for them. I will note, however, that I have NEVER put them in any kids club before so maybe its just that they're not used to that sort of thing.

Do you all know if Auntie's is anything like the Oceaneers club on DCL? My kids LOVED that. They didn't want to hang with the 'rents after they discovered it :)We were not fun enough.

We were at Aulani May 2016 and DS is 9 and DD is 6. My kids love Auntie's! And yes, Auntie's is just like Oceaneers on DCL. Well, a little different in that who ever is signing your child out has to physically go inside past check in and go get your little ones. Keep in mind you have to wash your hands before entering! They have their staff everywhere! In each room, outside, standing in the hallways etc. I felt that they have WAY MORE staff in Auntie's then in any other children's center I've sent my children to! When we cruise DCL (Sept 2013), and every other time we cruised (CCL, NCL, Princess), the children's staff would call your child to the front.

My boys are 8 and 6 (almost 7) and LOVED Aunty's! They would beg to go there!! Youngest DS did not go to the last free activity, not because he didn't think it would be fun, but because he was exhausted! It was the second to last day of our trip and all the sun, pools, ocean and Aunty's fun had worn him out! One time they were in there so long, I went to check on them and was told very quickly to "go away mom, we are having fun and want to stay!" LOL. We almost did the paid activities, but decided not to and the kids were none the wiser. We were there July 11-18 and NEVER had an issue getting them into Aunty's for free play, something that I was concerned about. Hope that helps!
