I've heard (on this board) that it hasn't been seen open in a long time, and it's labeled as "seasonal" in case they ever have to open it for some reason. I have not seen it open last year during the week of the 4th of July, or in March on my Spring Break, or the week of July 19-26 of this year.

I miss this place being open as when I went as a kid it was neat having a place to get a PB&J sandwich.

Kids today will never know the laid back lazy days of summer I got to experience .. everything now is sped up and processed / screened.

I have NEVER seen it open. I agree that it is a shame as sitting back and enjoying a PB&J sandwich and cooling off, would be a simple pleasure.

I was a terribly picky eater as a kid (I'm only marginally better now), so I loved having a PB&J there after running around Tom Sawyer Island and shooting the guns from the fort. Times have changed.
