Aulani with a 1 Year Old

We've had extended stays at Aulani several times before, but only when it was just my wife & I. We're debating when we want to take our next trip to Aulani & would love to hear from any of you who have experienced it with a child around 1(14 most to be exact). Obviously the flight there itself is a consideration, but we're more interested right now in hearing about your experiences at Aulani (or around the island even) with a child around this age. We went when DD was almost 4 and DS was 11 months. We flew from florida. Flights were long but tolerable. DS still fit in infant seat so we booked him a seat and he chilled for the most part.

Most of the vacation was similar to life with kids those ages. We did the light house trail where there is a paved trail up the hill, fun and exhausting.

Planning to go in june 2019 when we will have a 6.5 year 3.5 year old and 1 year old....we are probably carzy

We've been to Hawaii with 1, 2, and then 3 children. Our trip to Aulani consisted of me, DH, DD (6), DS (4), DS2 (14 months). We had an amazing time and the kids really loved it. We are all huge Disney fans so meeting characters, having breakfast with them, all while relaxing in Hawaii was amazing. DS2 would have his afternoon meal/snack and then take his nap. We would usually sit at the loungers by the pool, I'd feed him, then he'd fall asleep. Perfect time for me to relax by the pool with a cocktail for 2+ hours. Honestly, at that young age, traveling is so much easier since they are so portable We also got one of those baby tents for the sand and each of our kids would sit in there, nap in there, while we enjoyed our time at the beach. Hawaii is always a good idea in my mind. Enjoy your trip.
