Paging December and current Aulani visitors…

What type of coffee maker did you have in your room/villa? Please comment with drip vs Keurig as well as room or villa type.

Recent room tour videos online have started to see Keurig Duos in some of the villas within the last few weeks, and I’m just wondering if they are phasing them in or if they did a mass replacement or if they are only in certain villa types.

Info needed both for my upcoming trip as well as the Ultimate Coffee Maker thread.

Thanks!

Was there in a 1-bedroom in December and it had the spiffy coffee pot that was a traditional pot on one side and a Keurig-pod type on the other side. Took me a hot second to figure out the controls, but I liked it.

Thanks for this info/thread. Morning coffee is very important to us, and I usually pack my own. Not sure I'll do that , since we're flying, but good to know we can pack our Keurig pods. hope to get some really good coffee while there, and bring lots back.

The lion brand Honolulu blend was amazing. We got it at Target and brought a bunch home.

Thank you! Planning to leave a lot of suitcase space for souvenirs, and coffee!! I love strong, dark roast, very rich coffee.

Can anyone that has recently stayed in a studio confirm if they had a Keurig or a regular drip coffee maker? Thanks in advance!

A tour I saw from September 2024 had the older drip coffee maker. I haven't found anything more recent.

It's actually wild to me that people will fly 5,000 miles and take up luggage space with K-cups. But to each their own, as they say.

Often people want to know because they are putting in a grocery order before they arrive, or they plan to stop for groceries on the way. Knowing what to buy is useful, so you don’t buy k-cups but it turns out you only have a drip coffee maker, or vice versa.

But, I can see bringing your own if you have a strong preference for a certain brand and aren’t sure you can get it locally. And it leaves you souvenir space for the return trip.

I tried calling the other day to ask specifically about studio coffee makers.. Was on hold forever... gave up
I will find out for sure in two weeks

We were there in January in a 2 bdrm lockoff, studio portion had a single cup Keurig

We stayed in a studio over Christmas and it was just a K-cup coffee maker. Was pretty disappointed with that. We ended up getting the stainless steel refillable mugs. I would go down in the morning and get coffee. Luckily the second week of our trip we stayed on the Kona coast.

For future stays, you can always call housekeeping and ask for a Keurig Duo that has a drip pot as well as the k-cup side. Studios will almost always have the smaller one, but if they have a spare Duo from the larger villas they’ll happily bring it to you.

Will they give you extra coffee if you ask, like at WDW in the villas?
