Aulani - Super Bowl

Hi. I booked Aulani a while ago and my husband pointed out that we will be there during the Super Bowl. Is there any activities or viewing parties at the resort or nearby (like across the street or another nearby resort)? If all else, he can watch the game in the hotel room, and he doesn't want to do that

I think you may want to see if either Aulani or the Marriott Ko Olina sets up a viewing room within the resort, quick email or phone call is what I would do. Otherwise, this might be a great excuse to spend a day in Waikiki where there are bars and restaurants all over that will probably have special events centered around the Super Bowl. We were there two years ago on the day of the Super Bowl. It was being played on every TV in every bar and lounge. It was great!

We were there and watched a Lions game on the TV at the bar by the adult pool. It was a great place to watch in your swim suit. Remember that it will be much earlier than you are used to.

We were there during the Super Bowl last year. We watched it in our room, but we could hear cheering all around the resort from the lanai most likely from the bar areas. Everyone seemed to be having a great time.
