Aulani show suite

Has anyone toured the new Aulani show suite in WDW yet, and can you tell which resort is at? We will be in Orlando but not staying at WDW and I would like to see the rooms as we are booked for Feb. 2012 in Aulani

Yes, there is an Aulani model room at DL.

Did you see the ones from John and Kevin's trip and their videos in the July 21 podcast show notes? It looks absolutely fantastic. I am almost afraid to tour the model room at WDW as I'd probably buy in on the spot!

Yes they do - I just saw it at DL last week. Because it was made to "fit" inside the space that was formerly used for VGC and formerly SSR, I believe - the balconys are not correct (they are flat, vs. the angled space that the actual resort has).

Saw it at WDW in May. It just just down the hall from AKV and BLT.

They are nice. The guide who showed me around was sure to point out the rice cooker in the kitchen, and they'll have both a coffee maker and an electric tea pot as standard equipment. That made me happy as DW and I leave an electric tea pot in our OL for our FL trips as we drink tea, not coffee. When we visit Aulani we won't have to ask for a tea pot. (It's the little things... )
