Aulani Project Completion Dates

Is there any specific information out there about the projected completion dates for the various projects going on at Aulani?

I spoke to a CM the other day and the are ahead of schedule and although they are saying Mid 2013 I think it will be before the big summer rush.

Good to know. We are hoping they finish before our trip in May. I know the CM I spoke with at MS said she thought that they would just be doing finishing touches by that time. So we are hoping to avoid the majority of construction. Who knows, maybe they will be dome by May 11th.

I just spoke to member services who said all major outside construction is complete and the quiet pool and new quick service are now open as of Dec 22, therefore they're not offering point compensation anymore. Can anyone who is there confirm this is true. Are all the big construction walls down?

I find it very hard to believe that all major outside construction is complete. There is a photo taken on December 6, 2012 (see here) posted on another thread that shows that except for the land being cleared for the new infinity pool and kids' splash zone, it doesn't appear that construction has actually started on these new structures.

The only part of this that is true is that they are not offering point compensation. all the big walls were still up as of our stay which just ended on Dec. 30 and the quiet pool is still a complete construction site of a big hole with dirt all around it. I did not take any pix of the construction area but we did peek over the walls and the previous post is correct in that it doesn't even look like they have begun the rebuilding process yet - it's just a big dirt pile.

Wow - what bad information! At least other than the point compensation.

I knew that their info was fishy. There's no way they could have finished the new pool, but I was hoping the walls would be down and maybe they just planted some grass until later in the spring when the next phase would start. We'll be there next week and I'll try to update then. Not too happy with member service right now.
