Do they ever do the Bachelor/Bachelorette from Aulani?
Do they ever do the Bachelor/Bachelorette from Aulani?
We just got back (Sept 21-28) and the rumors are true. Cabanas and Casabellas were not sold out, line for the slide never stretched past the first bend on the stairs. The only evening/day that seemed busy was Friday evening/Saturday but we planned for it and went to Lanikai that day but honestly... i don't think even Saturday was that crazy. That being said the luau lawn was under construction so the movie, DVC night, and luau were cancelled which may have helped with foot traffic being less. It was the second time we have been mid-September and it has been so relaxing and not insane. Chairs are still crowded but I was always able to find one just maybe not at my first choice pool but I could find one.Has anyone been to Aulani this time of year? I have seen several posts elsewhere saying that this week it has been not crowded at all. Even the casabellas aren't all booked up. I was about to book for August again but Im willing to wait an extra month if it means a more pleasant experience.
Im not sure. Someone said "Kelly" might this Jan date not Idol. Im thinking Kelly Ripa's morning showDo they ever do the Bachelor/Bachelorette from Aulani?

To help you better plan your visit, we want to let you know that your stay falls within a necessary refurbishment period. From time to time, certain maintenance is required to keep our amenities and offerings updated and in line with Disney standards. As part of these efforts, the Waikolohe family pool, Waikolohe whirlpool spa, and Volcanic Vertical body slide will be unavailable from April 13 – May 8, 2026.
We invite you to make a splash at any of the other fun water features, including Waikolohe Stream lazy river, Ka Maka Pool & Grotto family pool, Keiki Cove children’s splash zone, Tubestone Curl tube slide, Menehune Bridge water play structure, several whirlpool spas, and the Ko Olina beach area. In addition, Wailana Adult Pool and ‘Alohi Point whirlpool spa will continue to be available for guests and DVC Members ages 18 and over to enjoy.
While we work our magic, it is possible that you may see or hear construction work, but rest assured noise should not be heard between dusk and 8 a.m. Please know your comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities.
I would rather take PhotoPass for the length of stay. They threw some love to Aulani for the MMB program next year
Receive an 8×10 photo print during your stay at AULANI, Disney Vacation Club® Villas, Ko Olina, Hawai‛i. For instructions on how to take advantage of this benefit, visit Hoku Hideaway after enrollment in Membership Magic Beyond.
Same. I’d be happy even with 50% off Photopass over the 8x10.I would rather take PhotoPass for the length of stay.
Just one of the water slides. The enclosed one.Heads up, just got an email that the water slide and pool will be undergoing refurbishment April 13 to May 8.
Or sometimes there's specific "genres" of travel that work for some family members but not others. We have an absolute blast when we cruise with my mother-in-law because she plops herself by the pool for the entire day, we go adventure in port or around the ship, and we meet back up for dinner. There's no expectation that either group has to entertain the other all day, every day. But she's a nightmare at Walt Disney World or any vacation where there's more physical activity required. On the flip side, we can travel with my parents and sisters just about anywhere. It sounds like you would be willing to travel with this part of your family again. Can I save you 20-30+ years of agony? Your family doesn't have to be your travel partners. You love them and you want to spend time with them and have them enjoy what you enjoy. Some people can't do that, even if they are related to you. Save yourself the stress.
Yes, learning who I can take where and who I should not.Or sometimes there's specific "genres" of travel that work for some family members but not others. Alas, sometimes Grandma offers to *pay* for the trip and then the calculus changes.Yes, learning who I can take where and who I should not.

I haven’t seen anything since the flurry of articles earlier in the year.Has anyone heard any rumblings about Atlantis development? I've seen some articles from Winter/Spring that talk about the plans being back on, but nothing since then. I assume there's no risk that there's construction equipment on the ground for February 2026? Trying to decide on an Island Garden view request and debating between luau side, highest floor hoping for a "free" ocean view versus the more peaceful Waianae short wing looking over the spa garden.
