I see folks discussing a lounge. I’m assuming it’s for cash guests or some specific level of room or is it open to anyone?
Thanks!
Thanks!
It’s for all guests to use. You do have to get a card to access it from the front desk.I see folks discussing a lounge. I’m assuming it’s for cash guests or some specific level of room or is it open to anyone?

It’s really more of a sales center. My understanding is that they don’t want people who are not interested in buying points or learning about DVC to linger too long.I see folks discussing a lounge. I’m assuming it’s for cash guests or some specific level of room or is it open to anyone?

Amazing view….Updating to add my room number. Room 989 Grand Villa Ewa Tower

I think they were referencing the Luana Lounge I was complaining about, the one used for showers and changing. It’s really more of a sales center. My understanding is that they don’t want people who are not interested in buying points or learning about DVC to linger too long.
Kind of like The Golden Vine in DCA.
We've been in that unit as well! Heading back to Aulani soon.Room 989 Grand Villa Ewa Tower
Ah! I think of it as a locker room. Put your stuff in a locker, change, and get out of there.I think they were referencing the Luana Lounge I was complaining about, the one used for showers and changing.
@Steelers0854 here is a little blurb from the website about it.

Thats what I thought too, that is actually exactly what I wanted. I didn't even need or want a locker. But there were just people using it like a hotel room. Sleeping, scrolling and eating.Ah! I think of it as a locker room. Put your stuff in a locker, change, and get out of there.
If you stay away from characters you might be fine. But we did decide since we have the ability we might try another time of year. Also so we can see different things while there, like going whale watchingDang we were thinking of going July/August because of school but all these crowds I don’t know now…
When we went mid May it was perfection
How’s the crowd at the lagoon? If you stay away from characters you might be fine. But we did decide since we have the ability we might try another time of year. Also so we can see different things while there, like going whale watching
I’m curious about this but also want to know what the chair hog/chair availability situation was like in late Aug.How’s the crowd at the lagoon?
How about ulu?
The lagoon actually felt less busy on the weekend than the weekdays. But it was still fine. The crowds were felt for characters and the lobby. Walking the walkways felt insanely crowded but again that was due to people in line for characters. We didn't go to ULU at prime times but when we did it didn't feel overly crowded. How’s the crowd at the lagoon?

There were no pool chairs after 8am until about 4pm-5pm. Beach chairs were not hard to get. Front row beach chairs were harder in the AM. My daughter was out at 8am and got one, she stood up and took 2 steps and lady plopped her stuff down without saying word so front beach is still hard id say. We had casabellas rented most of our stay though so it didn't effect us much at all.I’m curious about this but also want to know what the chair hog/chair availability situation was like in late Aug.
I wonder if they would let people bring their own beach umbrellas…. we really need some sort of DIS Board owners locker….There were no pool chairs after 8am until about 4pm-5pm. I dont think you can use your own umbrellas at the lagoon for Aulani, although since it's public Im not sure how they can say no? I would be down for this if it is allowed.I wonder if they would let people bring their own beach umbrellas…. we really need some sort of DIS Board owners locker….
Not allowed. The Ko Olina organization has rules about what is allowed.I wonder if they would let people bring their own beach umbrellas
