Aulani in summer at 7 months.

Hello. Anyone with experience booking aulani at 7 months in summer for 2 bedroom? Looks like June only really has ocean view. Will that make it to November booking? I assume they go fast in June. Will July hold? Basically just wondering if I will have luck with getting a 2 bedroom in summer. Thanks

It’s hard to predict but there is a good chance they will be mostly Oean view

When booking Aulani at 7 months, it's best to budget for Ocean view and be happy if you can get a lesser view. Aulani owners are very similar to other DVC owners in that many of them like to save points by booking the less expensive villas when they can!

It is unlikely that other views will open up. Aulani isn't like WDW with a lot of switching at 7 months.

How about a 1BR July 1st? Do 1BR have less demand like WDW? Prefer Pool view but would settle for any view rather staying on cash or hotel side.

1BR are somewhat more popular at Aulani due to dining costs in HI.

The period from June 7 to July 6 and about nine days around Christmas and New Years are the two highest demand times of the year at Aulani.. During those times, getting a 2BR in any booking category can be a challenge at 7-months out, and that includes ocean view although it has a somewhat better chance of being open than others. Between July 7 and mid-September, ocean view 2BRs are usually open at 7-months out, standard view are not. Island Garden and Poolside Garden 2BRs are sometimes open and sometimes not, but what you will often find is that either one or the other will be open during any particular week.
