Hi,

anyone have a set of daily IWAs and wouldn't mind sharing and scanning?

thanks, ellen

Another Ellen chiming in with the same request....the only one out there on the internet that (I believe) any of us can find is from September when Cory & Julie went. PUH-LEEEEEEEEZ help us! :flower3::flower3::flower3:

We are here now (arrived on Thursday) and happy to upload the 'IWAs I've gotten so far after we return on Wednesday if no one else posts by then. What is the best way to share the scanned documents? Is there a service people use that makes it easier to download and print documents? BTW - podsnel, I think I came across one of your trip reports in the past and really enjoyed it so I'm glad to return a small favor.:thumbsup2

i'm sorry, but can someone tell me what Iwa stands for? thx!

The Daily 'Iwa is a newsletter that is given out each day to let guests know where and when events are occurring throughout the resort.

I have 10 from a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not sure of the best way to post them online. :confused3

Probably the easiest way to do it is to
Scan them and post them on a free image hosting site like
imageshack.us or imgur.com

or if you are computer savvy, scan them as PDF with multiple pages, and
either attach them to this thread as an attachment or upload it to a free filesharing site...

"Iwa" means messenger. There is a daily Iwa, and one published on Sunday for an overview of the week.
If I knew how to do it, I'd post mine from a few weeks ago.

Actually, i forgot the easiest way-

do you have an iPhone (or other smartphone?)-
Just take a pic of the pages, and you can attach them to this thread!

I too would like to see what the newsletter looks like

AWESOME!!! I hope you are having fun! :goodvibes

Thank-you!!! :worship: Are the activities fairly similar on different days?

There is an overlap, or perhaps a better word would be repetition. The cultural tours of the resort, for example, are held several times a week. The Hawaiian Craft Class was Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Shake-A-Shaka Pool Party was Sunday and Friday.
I'll try to post more issues.

Tons of activities. The free ones alone can take a lot of time. I did the: make a lei, make a bracelet, make a pendant, the 2 cultural tours of the resort, ukulele lesson, fire pit story telling, sunset gathering, viewed fish feeding, character meet and greet, Menehune Adventure Trail (indoor and outdoor), and of course Starlit Hui--which has cultural experiences before the start (I made a vase out of a gourd, for which they supply flowers!). And here's a tip: even though feeding the stingrays is an extra cost experience, you can still go into the area and watch them and ask questions of the hosts.
