Aulani Christmas-New Years--availability?

Anyone Aulani owners who can book 11 months out have any info on availability between Christmas and New Years? I'm hoping to book at the seven month window and am curious if demand has been high for the holidays.

That would be a big unknown. It hasn't been opened for the holidays yet. And owners there still have the booking advantage. What is available today, might not be available tomorrow.

I understand that any info would have to come from Aulani owners, who can book this period now. My only curiosity, as a seven month window booke at this resort, is if there is high demand for Aulani between this Christmas and New Years. Yes, inventories will change, but were some room types not available, or is it still fairly wide open? As a non-Aulani owner, I can't get MS to tell me jack beyond what is available seven months out, hence my inquiry as to what experiences or insight that Aulani owners may have had booking this time period. My gut insticnt is that it may not be totally jammed this Christmas, as there are still relatively few actual Aulani owners and the point totals for this period are very high.

Even if they have completely finished Phase I of the project, only the villas declared into inventory will be available for points reservations. If only one villa has been sold, that's all that will be available for a points reservation. Anything else will be sold for cash.

I have Aulani points, post your desired dates and room type and I will check it for you. I just booked an one bedroom standard view Dec. 14 and it was the only room of that type available.

Don't forget they are also selling deeded weeks at Aulani (not just points) and I heard those were very popular with the Japanese. I would guess that holiday weeks would be popular for people who wanted to be sure to always get it. Good luck though!

The dates are Dec 28 through Jan 1 (we also own next door at Ko Olina and are then staying there Jan 1-8). Size? Prefer 2 bedroom (any view), but would take 1 bedroom if necessary.

As someone who will be trying to book a one bedroom for this same timeframe at 7 months I thank you for this information! It looks like I'd better have a back up plan in place!
