How did you like it?Thanks everyone for posting. We booked the Executive Lanai for our September 2024 trip. It seems like a lot of space and, unlike the 8 cabanas, the Executive Lanai has a good view of the ocean.
Our big concern is afternoon sun, so it will be interesting to see how well the umbrellas work if we move the chairs back a bit.
I'll post additional feedback after our stay.
We greatly enjoyed it. There was only 3 of us - it was a lot of extra space. We were glad we did it on our full day at the pool, as all the best spots filled up before 6:30 AM. There still were plenty of other spots available later in the morning, but these were in the sun, which would have been tough all day.How did you like it?
When we had it we BAKED in the afternoon and ended up just leaving. We greatly enjoyed it. There was only 3 of us - it was a lot of extra space. Our server came by frequently, and the location was convenient to the beach, the pools, and Off the Hook. But the quick service (with soda refills) was a bit of a walk. IMO, it was a much better deal than the more expensive cabanas. The Executive Lanai had more room to stretch out and was in a better location.
My worry was the afternoon sun, but with the two umbrellas, we were able to stay in the shade and there was a refreshing ocean breeze keeping us comfortable.

Book it as soon as you can. There is only one and when we checked a few days later to switch days, it was already gone for that day.Great impressions thanks!! Only 3 of us too and I hope to book it for my first full day at the resort (check in late on a Saturday so hope to get Sunday)
Did you have any trouble booking it?
I moved the folding lounge chair around a lot. At one point, I had both on the same side of the umbrella. When we had it we BAKED in the afternoon and ended up just leaving.
You were either in a heat dome or chairs that couldn’t comfortably get in the shade.
The CM said that a lot of people had issues with the afternoon sun in that spot as well. They need bigger umbrellas.
Also, the foliage blocked the ocean when we were sitting down.
Got my alarm set for 4 am next week when I hit 90 days and hope for the best…Book it as soon as you can. There is only one and when we checked a few days later to switch days, it was already gone for that day.
They are quite popular and a good bang for your buck. Can anyone tell me where the casabellas at Maeli (sp?) deck are? I do not see it on the map.
I have them booked one day but I don’t see them labeled on the map. Are they next to the upper and lower veranda at Ama Ama? I also have the lower veranda booked one day. They are quite popular and a good bang for your buck.
