Aulani at 7 month mark?

My son is getting married in August 2019. We'd like to give them an Ocean View Studio at Aulani for their honeymoon. We will need to book at the 7 month mark since we own at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. What are our chances of getting it if we book it right at 7 months?

Aulani is pretty easy. I booked Thanksgiving week and some random week in March at 4-5 months and get what we want. And I was aiming for the value / standard view with the cheapest points.

Not a studio, but we’ve gotten Aulani OV three times. Once in February, twice now in September. Heading there soon!

CONGRATS in advance..What a beautiful resort and gorgeous place to spend a honeymoon. We booked at 7 months, 2 BR, but wound up having to book Oceanview, not standard. Oh well, the resort was gorgeous, the view was beautiful. That was 4 years ago and I am so grateful that DH and our 2 adult sons(pre engagement for eldest DS who married 3 weeks ago) had the opportunity to go. I will treasure that trip as our last big trip, for the four of us. Who knows, maybe a trip for 5 now including our new DIL is in our future! I was able to book this for someone that was going on their honeymoon. I did it exactly at the 7 month mark and I got ocean view studio. Might depend on time but hers was in August.

We stayed in an OV one bedroom for a week in May this year and had no problem booking at the 7 month mark.

Echoing the other replies — we just booked a pool view studio for April 2019 right at the 7 month window. No availability issues for island view, pool view or ocean view.

I do was able to book for August with no issues. I did do it at exactly 7mths, but when I went back to check, there were still rooms available.

But I can empathize...I'm now planning for Christmas 2019 and I'm worried that I'll have an issue since it's peak season.

I booked my OV studio exactly at 7 mths end of July for 5 nights m-f before a cruise last year.
