I know this is slightly off topic, and its well past my bedtime, but I was wondering what will become Aulani's tag symbol for people's signature line. OKW as a cute little turtle, AKV has a giraffe, and SSR has a prancing horse. I know some new Aulani owners are using a butterfly on their signature line, which is quite pleasant and colorful.
But my fear is that a malevolent tag fairy may endow Aulani with a symbol that will be hard to swallow. Remember that when Captain Cook first saw the Hawaiian Islands, he called them the Sandwich Islands. If the Tag Fairy can give Bay Lake Tower owners the ingredients for a sandwich, what's to keep the Tag Fairy from giving Aulani owners two slices of bread as their symbol???
I think I should go to bed now. Its been a long day.
When I think of HI I don't think of butterflies. How about a little hula dancer as the symbol? (or other stuff like coconut tree, hibiscus or plumeria, sea turtle, but those are all in FL too)
Just my 2 cents...
AHR refers to the"R"esort which include the regular hotel.
AHV refers to the "V"illas which is what DVC members will be purchasing and staying
Hope that helps
I'm seeing multiple initials, so how about giving the resort star power:
Make the DisBoards nickname for Aulani:
ᵹ
...and then calling it the Resort formerly known as Aulani???
The link for point charts on the DVC Member site shows: Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawai'i
Unfortunately, that's already taken by All Star Sports.Aulani Sand & Sea.... Soo....![]()
Or "D50" for Disney Five Oh
Or "D50" for Disney Five Oh
I'm trying to imagine Mickey with a pompadour playing the Jack Lord/Steve McGarrett role.Do you think they'll have Donald Duck be Dano Duck during the character meals? I vote for this initialing.
