August vs June?? Any Advice?

I usually go to disney the 3rd week of June. It has been extremely crowded the last few years so this year I was thinking of going the 2nd week of August. Can anyone please let me know what the difference is? Will there be less of a crowd? Will it be much hotter than in June?

I'd say the temps wouldn't be too much different, but it's going to be hot either way.

2nd week of August might be slightly less crowded because kids are starting school at about that time.

June or August:
Give me both and I'll be there in a flash!! LOL

That being said (dream on for me) , in August you might get some increased humidity and more rain. It was so weird, because we've visited Disney World twice in August and the rains would arrive almost every other day around 3:00. It was so weird. Sometimes the rain would continue on and off into the evening and sometimes it would clear right up.

The other aspect of visiting in August is that SO FAR, the free dining goes on from about mid-August OR SO until the end of September. That can be a huge money saver for most.

Just coming back from WDW the first week of August...I'd say June, ONLY because it was so miserable hot...
There's always gonna be crowds... its whether or not you can stand the heat

August can be just miserably HOT (and I live in The South.) Crowds are still thick the second week, but IMHO, the June crowds are worse.

Temperaturewise, about the same. Crowds may be a little easier in August, that's when we usually go but also a HUGE factor is that prices start coming down again in August and like someone else said before, usually mid-August until the last of September they have been offering free dining. It could change but it's been around those dates for a while now.
